Hey y’all

I’ll be away from my blog till April 5. I decided to give up social networking for lent this year. When I first thought of it I thought it’d be a good challenge but then I thought of the implications and I REALLY REALLY didn’t want to. At this point I realized that unbeknownst to me [sorry, not sorry, I had to :)]social networking had become an idol in my life. 

“You must not have any other god but me.You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods…” - Exodus 20:3

“Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts”- 1 John 5:21

So on that note, adios amigos! I’ll be back in 39 days. Feel free to send me messages and I’ll reply when I’m back on. I have some posts on queue so if you see any posts after today that’s what it is.
